La llama que ilumina el camino

En este momento de profunda reflexión, me encuentro en el umbral de una nueva etapa. Tras años de dedicación incansable, perseverancia y esfuerzo, he alcanzado un hito significativo en mi trayectoria académica: He obtenido mi título de Doctor.

Mi corazón late con fuerza, lleno de emoción, al recorrer mentalmente el camino que me ha llevado hasta aquí. Recuerdo cada instante de alegría y desafío, las largas noches entre libros y apuntes, la sensibilidad a flor de piel que me impulsó a conquistar cada peldaño. Ha sido un viaje intenso, lleno de altibajos, pero siempre con la mirada puesta en el horizonte.

Mi familia, mi roca y mi mayor fuente de inspiración, ha sido mi refugio y mi fuerza; la llama que me ilumina, sus palabras de aliento siempre son como un bálsamo que fortalece mi espíritu; su amor y apoyo incondicional han sido el viento que infló mis velas, permitiéndome navegar mares embravecidos y despejar las nubes para dar paso a la determinación, revelando un cielo azul de esperanza y certeza.

Mi camino intelectual comenzó en la Universidad San Martín de Porres, en Lima, Perú, donde estudié Ingeniería durante dos años. Posteriormente, obtuve el grado de Meteorólogo Aeronáutico de la Fuerza Aérea del Perú. Luego, me trasladé a los Estados Unidos, donde realicé cursos de posgrado y convalidé mis créditos para obtener el grado de Bachiller en Ciencias Meteorológicas en la San José State University, en California.

Continué mis estudios en la Florida International University, donde me gradué como Bachiller en Ciencias en Geografía Física con notas sobresalientes. Tras obtener mi maestría en Ingeniería Medioambiental en la Universidad Europea del Atlántico, proseguí mi formación académica con cursos de posgrado en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) y en la Universidad Benito Juárez. Finalmente, me gradué como Doctor en Ingeniería de Proyectos en la Universidad de Investigación e Innovación de México, donde tuve el privilegio de ser becado.

Durante esta última etapa, compartí experiencias enriquecedoras con mis compañeros de doctorado, recibiendo el apoyo y la orientación de profesores y mentores fundamentales en mi crecimiento; tanto personal como profesional.

Al mirar atrás, comprendo que no solo he alcanzado un título, sino que he fortalecido una parte importante de mi ser; esa capacidad para superar obstáculos, perseverar cuando todo parece estar en contra y sobre todo creer en mí, más allá de lo que cualquier título puede simbolizar. He aprendido que la verdadera sabiduría no se limita a los libros ni a las aulas, sino en la experiencia vivida, en la reflexión personal, en la conexión genuina con los demás y en el servicio desinteresado. Cada desafío, cada momento de introspección han sido maestros silenciosos, guiándome a una comprensión más profunda de mi y del mundo, dándome un enfoque real y transformador al verdadero aprendizaje porque este nunca termina sino evoluciona; cambiando no solo nuestra mente sino nuestra esencia.

Con el corazón lleno de sosiego y el espíritu impregnado de agradecimiento, me preparo para un futuro repleto de desafíos y oportunidades. Un futuro que, lejos de ser incierto, está colmado de esperanza y propósito. Estoy listo para dejar una huella positiva en el mundo, compartir mis conocimientos y experiencias, e inspirar a quienes están comenzando su propio camino. Agradezco profundamente a mis amigos y mentores por su apoyo y orientación a lo largo de este viaje.

A ustedes que están leyendo estas palabras, los invito a reflexionar sobre sus propias experiencias y logros. Recuerden que el verdadero legado no se define por nuestra identidad, sino por la intención de iluminar el camino de los demás y el impacto positivo que dejamos en quienes nos acompañan, transformando nuestro recorrido en un acto de amor y esperanza; impulsados por una determinación inquebrantable que renueve la realidad y conecte a cada uno con .... La llama que iluminará su propio camino.

The flame that illuminates the path

​

At this moment of profound reflection, I find myself at the threshold of a new stage. After years of tireless dedication, perseverance, and effort, I have achieved a significant milestone in my academic journey: I have obtained my Doctoral degree. My heart beats with emotion as I mentally revisit the path that has led me to this point. I recall every moment of joy and challenge, the long nights spent among books and notes, the sensitivity that drove me to conquer each step. It has been an intense journey, filled with ups and downs, but always with my gaze fixed on the horizon.

​

My family, my rock and greatest source of inspiration, has been my refuge and strength; the flame that illuminates me, their words of encouragement always like a balm that fortifies my spirit; their unconditional love and support have been the wind that filled my sails, allowing me to navigate turbulent seas and clear the clouds to make way for determination, revealing a blue sky of hope and certainty.

My intellectual journey began at the Universidad San Martín de Porres in Lima, Peru, where I studied Engineering for two years. I then obtained my degree as a Meteorological Engineer from the Peruvian Air Force. Later, I moved to the United States, where I took postgraduate courses and validated my credits to obtain my Bachelor's degree in Meteorological Sciences from San José State University in California. I continued my studies at Florida International University, where I graduated with honors as a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography. After obtaining my Master's degree in Environmental Engineering from the European University of the Atlantic, I pursued further postgraduate studies at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the Benito Juárez University. Finally, I graduated as a Doctor in Project Engineering from the University of Research and Innovation of Mexico, where I had the privilege of being a scholarship recipient.

During this last stage, I shared enriching experiences with my fellow doctoral students, receiving support and guidance from fundamental professors and mentors in my personal and professional growth. Looking back, I understand that I have not only achieved a degree, but have also strengthened an important part of my being; that capacity to overcome obstacles, persevere when everything seems to be against me, and above all, believe in myself, beyond what any degree can symbolize.

​

I have learned that true wisdom is not limited to books or classrooms, but is found in lived experience, personal reflection, genuine connection with others, and selfless service. Each challenge, each moment of introspection, has been a silent teacher, guiding me to a deeper understanding of myself and the world, giving me a real and transformative focus on true learning, because it never ends, but evolves; changing not only our minds but our essence.

With a heart full of peace and a spirit imbued with gratitude, I prepare for a future filled with challenges and opportunities. A future that, far from being uncertain, is filled with hope and purpose. I am ready to leave a positive mark on the world, share my knowledge and experiences, and inspire those who are starting their own journey.

I deeply thank my friends and mentors for their support and guidance throughout this journey.

To those of you who are reading these words, I invite you to reflect on your own experiences and achievements. Remember that true legacy is not defined by our identity, but by the intention to illuminate the path of others and the positive impact we leave on those who accompany us, transforming our journey into an act of love and hope; driven by an unbreakable determination that renews reality and connects each one of us with... the flame that will illuminate our own path.
